OFFBOOK

Off the chart. On the chain.

Buy and sell Solana memecoins directly with other people — big amounts, one fixed price, without your trade moving the chart. Until someone accepts an offer, the tokens (or the payment) stay locked in the OFFBOOK program. Then both sides swap in one transaction — everything happens or nothing does.

OTC = over-the-counter: you trade directly with another person, not through a liquidity pool.

DEVNET — test network
Everything here uses test tokens with no real value. The program is not live on mainnet and has not been audited.

03How a trade works
  1. 01Seller makes an offerThe tokens are locked in the OFFBOOK program. No person or server can move them.
  2. 02Buyer acceptsOne transaction: tokens → buyer, SOL → seller, 1% fee → protocol.
  3. 03All or nothingIf any part fails, nothing moves. Nobody has to approve the trade.
  4. 04Where the fee goesHalf buys back and burns $OFB, half goes to the treasury.
The trade happens directly between buyer and seller, not in the token's liquidity pool, so a large trade causes no slippage and does not move the pool price. It does not guarantee the price: the market can still react to the news of a trade.

How the buyback works (and what it is not)
Half of every fee goes into a buyback fund held by the program. An operator key (the keeper) starts each buyback: the program releases at most a set amount per run, and only if, in the same transaction, at least the expected amount of $OFB arrives in the program's burn vault — and all of it is burned. Each run must also reach a minimum price set on-chain (the price floor), and looser limits only take effect after a public waiting period. Above the floor the keeper picks the route and the price, so this is not trustless. No promise about price.
Prelaunch
$OFB is not launched yet. Fees still collect in the reserve; burns start once the token is set up on-chain. Buybacks are paid in SOL.
